Terobsesi Go International dengan Dawet Cah Mbanjar

Sukses mengembangkan usaha es dawet yang kini berjumlah lebih dari 220 gerobak dan beromzet Rp100 juta per bulan, pemilik gerai Dawet Cah Mbanjar, Hafiz Khairul Rijal terobsesi go international dengan bisnis minuman tradisional tersebut.

Berwirausahanya sepertinya sudah menjadi takdir bagi Hafiz. Ketika menjadi mahasiswa Teknik Industri Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), tahun 2002, Hafiz sudah merintis jadi wirausahawan. Pelbagai macam usaha ia lakoni, total ada 10 jenis, mulai dari laundry, katering, jualan ayam bakar, mie, kue lupis, hingga parfum dan handphone. Tapi, semuanya gagal.

Hafiz pun menjajal berjualan dawet. Ia bercerita, ide berbisnis dawet muncul saat bertemu tukang dawet yang mangkal di daerah Sukarame, Medan. Saat itu, Hafiz sekedar iseng bertanya omzet penjualan. Karena tergiur oleh cerita si penjual, ia segera mendatangi juragan dawet agar bisa bergabung. Pembuat es dawet setuju untuk memasok bahan baku dan menyewakan gerobak kepada Hafiz.

Meski rugi di bulan pertama berdagang dawet, Hafiz tak menyerah. Ia berusaha meyakinkan dirinya kalau itu cobaan yang harus dilalui. Sebab, ia berikrar, bisnis dawet merupakan usaha terakhir. Tekadnya berbuah manis. Di bulan ketiga, usahanya laris manis meski ia harus mendorong sendiri gerobaknya dan sempat memeroleh cemoohan teman-temannya. Hafiz tak mau ambil pusing dengan semua cibiran itu.

Selang dua tahun menjalankan bisnis dawet, jumlah gerobak Hafiz pun terus bertambah hingga mencapai 19 unit pada 2008. Di tahun yang sama, Hafiz mendapat tawaran untuk membeli seluruh usaha dawet dari pemilik aslinya.

Tanpa pikir panjang, Hafiz mengambil tawaran tersebut dan merogoh kocek Rp50 juta hasil pinjaman mertua. Setelah mendapat seluruh alat produksi, gerobak, dan juga resep rahasia, ia mulai mengibarkan usahanya dengan bendera Cah Mbanjar. Bukan tanpa sebab Hafiz mengusung merek ini. Dawet memang minuman asli Banjarnegara. Apalagi, pasokan gula kelapa untuk pemanis dawetnya tetap didatangkan langsung dari daerah di Jawa Tengah itu.

Usahanya berkembang pesat dalam hitungan bulan. Bahkan usahanya diakui oleh sebuah bank swasta nasional. Dari situ, pria kelahiran Medan, 1978 ini berkenalan dengan para pengusaha muda lainnya, seperti pemilik Kebab Turki Baba Rafi dan Homy Group. "Untuk pengembangan kemitraan, saya belajar dari mereka," kenang Hafiz. Mulailah era baru bisnis penjualan dawet Hafiz. Ia mulai mewaralabakan bisnisnya dengan menggunakan bendera CV Djawara Fizta. Saat itu, ia pun menawari investor dana sebesar Rp6 juta untuk menjadi mitranya.

Untuk menjangkau jaringan dan pasar yang lebih luas, Hafiz rajin mengikuti pameran hingga luar negeri seperti, pameran di Singapura dan Hongkong. Setelah merasa mantap dengan jaringan kemitraan es dawet, Hafiz pun berniat memperluas usahanya. Saat ini, Hafiz membuka gerai Cah Mbanjar di lokasi pusat perbelanjaan.

Namanya Cah Mbanjar The Outlet. Di tempat inilah berbagai makanan seperti bakso dan siomay, serta makanan lain disajikan. Hafiz berniat membuka Cah Mbanjar The Outlet dengan pengembangan sendiri, bukan dengan sistem waralaba. Lewat master plan The Outlet yang sudah terbentuk, Hafiz berniat membuat perusahaan makanan dan minuman kelas dunia yang tersebar di banyak negara. (*/surabayapost)
