Kesuksesan dapat diibaratkan sama dengan kesembuhan. Jika Anda sakit dan ingin sembuh, maka segala cara akan Anda tempuh. Termasuk minum obat yang pahit, merasakan sakitnya disuntik, bahkan mengeluarkan kocek yang tak sedikit untuk pengobatan Anda.

Intinya, Anda rela melakukan apapun juga, sekalipun itu tidak enak, untuk sembuh.

Seorang olahragawan yang ingin meraih juara harus rajin latihan. Seorang ibu yang ingin melahirkan bayinya harus melewati proses persalinan yang menyakitkan. Seorang siswa yang ingin lulus harus melewati ujian terlebih dulu.

Kesuksesan lahir justru dari proses yang tidak enak. Jika Anda menolak hal-hal yang menimbulkan sengsara, maka berarti Anda menolak yang namanya kesuksesan.

Bila Anda tidak suka menyapu, maka jangan berharap untuk memiliki rumah yang bersih. Jika Anda tak mau bekerja lebih keras, maka jangan harap Anda akan naik jabatan.

Ada harga yang harus dibayar untuk memperoleh yang namanya kesuksesan dan seringkali harganya itu mahal, perjuangannya itu berat, kesulitan yang menghadang itu besar.

Apakah Anda akan menyerah? Seorang yang mudah menyerah sangat dekat dengan kegagalan.

Jangan mudah menyerah! Jika Anda tidak suka, lakukan saja jika hal itu memang harus dilakukan. Jangan terlalu mengenakkan ego kenyamanan Anda! Jika Anda jatuh, maka bangkitlah lagi, jangan terpuruk dalam kegagalan dan rasa mengasihani diri sendiri.

Ayo, kesuksesan ada dalam genggaman Anda jika Anda mau melakukan hal yang Anda tidak ingin lakukan dan menaklukkan ego Anda. Kesuksesan berarti tekun melakukan yang harus dilakukan sekalipun Anda tidak menyukainya. (*/dari berbagai sumber)
